As a Asperger's living in New Zealand there is still discrimination towards the Asperger's Community in the form of unemployment

I would like to welcome my reader's by letting them know that I am a Asperger's sufferer,I did not choose the syndrome and neither do I want to be born with it

I have in fact been living in New Zealand for 19 years next year will be my parents 20th anniversary of moving to New Zealand from Hong Kong.In 1998 I was diagnosed with Autism Syndrome Disorder by the Auckland District Health Board and back then I suffered the hands of bullying when I was in Primary,Intermediate and even Secondary School and the effect of bullying took a tremendous toll on me and it even affected me psychologically, some times I would be a truant or even trouble to the teachers

By 2007 at age 19,I left school and went to UNITEC and did two Automotive trade Certs and found it was not my cup of tea so by 2008 at the end,I gave up

By 2009 me and my mum moved down to Wellington because my father had a job at the railways

What I like to let people know in New Zealand it is possible to get a benefit by the name of Supported Living Payment which is possible for people who have diagnosed Asperger's and etc. Also the parents can claim carer support if they live with their son or daughter who have been deemed to have Asperger's Syndrome and etc

Also another thing there is a pretty bad Unemployment Rate for Asperger's Sufferers in New Zealand,Aspergers people are also treated as disabled in New Zealand as well

As a aspie sufferer,my opinion New Zealand is not suitable for me
